Why are Ovida's emails to me being blocked?
Email is central to your identity in most software products. Your email address is your source of identity, the way you log in, and the way we communicate with you. Because email is also a conduit for viruses, phishing and other malicious behaviour, all email providers have built in filters to detect and block potentially malicious content. Those filters can sometimes incorrectly block innocent emails. This happens to our emails to users from time to time.
What is Ovida doing about it?
We are constantly working to ensure that we adhere to the highest standards of email hygiene, and we maintain an exceptionally high sender rating. We track email delivery and proactively alert every user whose provider has blocked our emails.
We can't however, influence the setup on your email provider's filters, so we may need your help to unblock emails we send to you.
What can I do?
The first step is to add our email addresses to your contacts. This signals to your filters that we are a known entity, and reduces the chance of our emails being blocked. You should add:
Individual subscribers to Gmail
If you are using Gmail, look in your spam folder, and if you find an email from us, select it, and mark it as "not spam" or "not phishing". To find the latest info, google "mark as not spam in gmail".
Individual subscribers to Outlook
If you are using MS Outlook or Office365, look in your junk folder, and mark the email as "not junk". To find the latest info, google "mark as not junk in outlook".
Ask your IT department to whitelist Ovida
We subscribe to the highest security standards, and are whitelisted by Fortune 100 companies. Share this information with your IT department, and they should whitelist us.
