Ovida collects and stores three types of data:
Meeting data is the original video recording of your meeting.
Meeting metadata is data Ovida generates from the analysis of your meeting. This can include transcripts, video and audio analysis and other metadata.
Personally Identifying Information (PII) is any information that can be used to identify you.
Because every meeting has at least two participants, all of the data is associated with, and jointly owned, by two Ovida users. Either of those users can at any time delete their meeting data, which will trigger a process of entirely removing it from Ovida's records and the meeting history of the other person. If you delete meeting data, the other person in the meeting will still be able to see that they had a session with you, but they will not be able to access the deleted meeting content.
Meeting metadata is not deleted when you delete your history. This data has been generated from your original meeting data, and is used to train our machine learning algorithms. In this form, it is not connected to your PII in any way, and cannot be linked to you. We can delete this meeting metadata at your request. This is a manual process that takes some time to execute.
Deleting your meeting data does not delete your account, and Ovida will retain this information. Closing your account also does not delete your history from Ovida's records - this can only be done by explicitly telling us to do so.
