If you are new to Ovida, and a host has invited you to join a meeting with them, you will receive an email that looks like this.

To join the meeting without registering, simply click the "Join Meeting" button. If you prefer to register beforehand, click on "Sign up now." You can register at any point, even after the meeting. Being registered on Ovida grants you access to and control over your data.

  • Join without registering

    1. Upon clicking the Join meeting button, you will be prompted to select your role.

    2. After agreeing to the terms, you will be directed to a lobby. Here, you can conduct pre-flight tests to ensure your audio and camera are functioning properly.

    3. Once testing is successful, you can proceed to join the meeting.

*Read more about this option here.

  • Register before joining the meeting

    1. Upon clicking the Sign up now button, you will be prompted to change your password.

    2. When you click on the button "Back to All Applications", you will be redirected to the login page.

    3. You should then login for the first time.

    4. Accept T&C's.

    5. Once in the app, you will see the meeting your host has booked with you. Join the meeting by clicking the "Join" button (video rooms are available 5 minutes before the scheduled start time).

  • Test your video setup

Ovida uses secure video room technology to run a video meeting direct from your browser. To ensure that your meeting goes off smoothly, we recommend that you run through the brief "test your setup" step in the Meeting lobby.

If you are interested in using Ovida for your own meetings, consider Upgrading your account. You can start by going to the User profile > Manage account > Change plan.
