Sometimes a guest who originally agreed to being recorded may change their mind during the session. That’s completely fine- and Ovida makes it easy to respect their wishes. The recording does not automatically move forward to processing the moment the meeting ends. Instead, both the host and the guest are given the option to confirm or discard the recording.
This shared control ensures that every participant has a real say in how their meeting data is handled.
How ending the meeting works
Step 1: Host initiates the end
The host clicks “End Meeting”.
At this point, the host sees two options:
End meeting – closes the room and begins processing the recording.
Resume meeting – cancels the action and returns everyone to the meeting room.
Step 2: Processing or discarding
Once the host ends the meeting, both the host and the guest have a one-minute grace period.
During this time, either participant can still choose to:
save for feedback - initiates the processing of your meeting. Typically, it takes approximately one hour to process a one-hour meeting. Once completed, you will receive an email notification informing you that the processing is finished and your data is ready for review.
delete permanently for all - meeting will be deleted immediately and will not be processed.
