Yes, you can access Ovida on your phone. Ovida is fully supported on all mobile browsers, so you can join meetings, review recordings, and access your account right from your device.
Things to keep in mind
Camera and microphone access: Make sure your browser has permission to use your phone’s camera and microphone. Without this, you won't be able to join meetings on Ovida.
Recording quality: Ovida captures both verbal and non-verbal behaviour. If you’re using your phone, try to keep it stable (e.g., on a stand or resting on a surface) so the video is clear and doesn’t move around.
Browser recommendation: For the highest accuracy and best video quality, we recommend using Chrome or Edge.
Downloads: If your organisation has enabled downloads, you can still download transcripts, audio, and video on mobile. Files will save to your device just like any other downloaded file.
Mobile app availability
At this time, Ovida does not offer a dedicated mobile app. However, the mobile browser experience is optimised and gives you access to the same key features.
