Ovida collects and stores three types of data:
Meeting data - the original video recording of your meeting.
Meeting metadata - data generated by Ovida’s analysis of your meeting. This may include transcripts, video and audio analysis, and other metadata.
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) - any information that can be used to identify you.
Because every meeting involves at least two participants, all data is associated with and jointly owned by both Ovida users. Either participant can delete their meeting data at any time. Doing so will initiate a process that completely removes the data from Ovida’s records and from the meeting history of the other participant.
Important details about deletion:
Meeting metadata is not deleted when you clear your meeting history. This metadata is generated from your original meeting data and is used to train Ovida’s machine learning algorithms. It is fully anonymized, not connected to your PII, and cannot be linked back to you. We can delete this metadata at your request, though this is a manual process and may take time to complete.
Deleting meeting data does not delete your Ovida account. Similarly, closing your account does not automatically erase your meeting history from Ovida’s records. To fully delete your history, you must explicitly request this.
