Ovida is built around delivering post-meeting insights and analysis - this is at the heart of what makes the platform so valuable. By default, all meetings are recorded because machine learning engine needs that data to help you understand communication patterns, generate key moments, and guide your development.
However, you have full control over the recording and what happens to it:
Pause or resume recording during the meeting: Want to skip sensitive or irrelevant parts? Simply pause the recording, then resume when you’re ready. Read more here.
Discard the recording entirely: When the meeting ends, both you and your guest can choose whether to send it for processing or discard it. If you decide to discard, the meeting is permanently deleted - it never reaches Ovida’s servers and will not be analyzed. Learn more here.
High privacy & control: Ovida was designed with data privacy in mind. Every participant has control over their own data. You can delete your recording, transcript, or video at any time.
Why record by default?
Recording starts automatically when both users join. We’ve set recording to start automatically because many people forget to hit the record button - and we don’t want you to miss out on valuable insights.
