How to join a meeting as a host, guest or observer

Updated over 4 months ago

Meeting basics:

1. To ensure security, the host and observers (if any) must be logged in to join a room, but guests can join without being signed up or logged in.

2. If you are coaching a session, you must be the host. The system analyzes meetings based on the assigned roles. If you wish to switch roles and have your guest coach you, they will need to create a separate meeting and invite you to it.

3. The join meeting link can be used by any invited user to join a meeting.

5. Only the host can end the meeting, but the guest can leave at any time (although this does not actively end the meeting).

6.Once the host ends a meeting and chooses to submit it for analysis, the meeting cannot be restarted.

7. Users can leave and return to a meeting an unlimited number of times by clicking "Back to Lobby".

8. Observers can click on 'Go Live' to unmute and turn on camera to interact with the host and guest. When they do, the recording will automatically pause.

9. Only the user on a Mentor plan or an owner/member of the team on Business or Enterprise plan can be added as an observer.
